Not much of a busy type of fair, our town's Tech fair was but a gathering of different electronics supplier showcasing their latest imports over what's technologically hot, and obsoletely not.

You get your digital cameras with something-something mega-pixels on it, a cell phone that has a television on it, a TV that has a cell phone on it (weird), some new PC models (what the - is that an AQUARIUM Monitor?) and PC thingamajigs like speakers, mouse, monitors, printers and the like. They have free demos. Sweet, just what I needed.

Unluckily, things usually don't go the way they are supposed to be. So, after making a fool of myself in one of the demonstration booths (and earning a few laughs from several bystanders), I sought out to buy a self-help book. Concerning computers. It was bad enough that I "accidentally" shut the computer down (whatever you do, do not press the red, blinking button), but I got my feet tangled up in the cords and almost lost my cash for paying damages (which I swear I did not plan).

Guitar music has its own musical notation. The standard musician's notation of staffs, notes, note values, ledger lines, key signatures and time signatures is replaced with a simpler, operational type of notation, called a tab. Even if you do not know how to read music, you can learn how to play guitar with the acoustic guitar tabs. Many stringed instruments use tabs or tablatures.

"Tabs" is short for tablature. Acoustic guitar tabs are like a little picture of your guitar strings. The first row is the top string and the sixth row is the bottom one. On each of the rows, or lines, the numbers indicate the fret youre supposed to be playing. A 0 (zero) is used to indicate an open string, while an X indicates a muffled string.

In case you don't know what a fret is, its the space between two of the metal bars on the long neck of your guitar. Most acoustic guitars have from 21 to 24 of these frets. Their dots are just there to help you in positioning your fingers.

Hvac Training For Beginners

There are many reasons that an HVAC system could not work properly, enough to write a whole book about. But here I will teach you a couple of preventive maintenance tips that will help your HVAC system run at its maximum efficiency.

I will be referring to the air handler and the condensing unit a lot. To make things perfectly clear the air handler is inside, usually in a closet, and the condensing unit is outside of the home.

Check you air filter often, I would recommend replacing the air filter once a month if you use your HVAC system a lot. The air filter is located in the air handler, there is usually a slot to where you can insert it. If your air filter is dirty it will cause an air restriction and the unit will not cool like it should.

Keeping your condensate line in your central air conditioning system is another easy thing to do that will prevent many problems. The easiest way that you can do this is by getting some slime tabs and placing them in the drip pan, inside the air handler once a month.

If you find that your line backed up and shut down your air conditioning system, or flooded the house you will have to clean the line out. It will probably require a wet dry vacuum to do this, since the slime tablets are mainly made for preventing slime and sludge inside the condensate line.

Keeping both sets of coils clean on both the air handler and the condensing unit will also help prevent problems. Keeping the air handler coils clean is easy, all you have to do is make sure that you have a clean air filter inserted at all times. Over time they may get dirty still, but there are many coil cleaners that are out there in the market you can use.

The outside coils usually do not get dirty as often as the ones that are located inside. The problem that happens most is bushes, leaves, plants, that are close to the condensing unit and block the hot air that is trying to be blown out. So make sure your condensing unit has a couple of feet of free space all the way around it.

Refrigerant leaks are also very common on HVAC systems. If your HVAC system is not blowing cool air, and the condenser is not blowing out hot air then you could have a refrigerant leak. If this is the case it must be fixed by a certified HVAC technician.

These are just a couple of easy things that anyone can do, these steps do not require intense HVAC training. Follow these little steps in preventative maintenance and you will greatly increase the efficiency of how your HVAC system runs over the years. - 20607
